    Wonderful Design

I tried this on in a shop, that carries your coats--in a medium. Because I am so short and rather busty I need a medium, which was too long in length and in the sleeves. Too bad, I would have purchased it in an instant, it is so attractive and well made.

    Exactly what I've been after

I bought this on khaki during the end of season winter sale. It's exactly what I've been looking for! I'm 6'1 and it drops to my knees, so I imagine it would be quite long on a shorter gal. Upon first try on I thought the waist could use a more fitted taper... but after glancing at my reflection in every window for the past week I've decided it's perfect. Super warm, stylish, and a little bit different than what everyone else wears all winter long. I'm actually hoping for another really cold snap this year just to get to wear this coat more.

    Nice Coat

I bought this coat because I really like the style and the trim look. I was tired of wearing bulky down winter coats. It's a really nice coat and I would recommend it. I'm 5'2" and the coat falls below my knees which is fine because when I wear skirts and dresses it keeps me warm. I had to have the sleeves altered because they were a bit too long for my arms. There are a couple of things that I wish this coat had and they are that the pockets aren't lined and I would have preferred a hood that zippers instead of snaps.

    Fit

The arms were much too long. I am short so, on me the coat looked much too big, all over.
    Plus it was rather bulky.

    Perfect for below/near freezing

This is my go-to winter coat. I live in Boston and I am completely crabby if I'm cold. I use the trench when it falls to 40F, when it is raining and flirting with freezing, and down to about 20/25F.

The coat runs slightly large so I would personally chose based on the hips measurement if you are curvy. (My hips measure 38" so the chart puts between S and M; the S was the better choice way better choice). I am 5' 7.5" 125-130lbs with broad shoulders. I am very comfortable in the Small. The XS could have worked but it was snug on my shoulders.

The waterproof zipper requires using two hands: one to pull the left zipper-pull down in addition to and at the same time as the right zipper-pull is going up. Without that trick, I could never zip it.

After I purchased the Copenhagen trench, my mom gave me a hand-me-down "warm" coat from Moncler. I like the Nau Copenhagen better for its longer length and for rain and slush. The Moncler coat is warmer, so I use that in Boston when it is definitively 20/25F or colder. Boston can be -5F some mornings and the damp windchill is always a bone-chilling factor.

FYI I wear a base layer through the winter. I am often standing stationary watching kids play at the park rain, snow or shine, or taking longer city walks.

I'm a winter-wuss so the Nau takes good care of me especially if I layer properly and keep my feet properly warm.
