    Urban Armour

My fourth Nau jacket and possibly the best, wore it during a downpour and it held up as advertised. Quality workmanship and materials combined with design elements make it a jacket you can dress up or down. Goes great with jeans.

There are a couple oddities: the large zipper only goes up to my sternum, so the designer had to fix a snap above it to complete the look. It's a bit ungainly looking unzipped. My suggestion would be to use hidden snaps as used on my Riding Jacket. Also the snap on the rear center vent makes a loud clicking sound when fastened and I'm walking so I have to leave it snapped.

As for sizing, I am 5'11, 180 and I needed to order a large. It is a trimmer fit than the Riding Jacket. So if you are in between in Nau products like I am, I would size up if you want to wear a layering piece underneath.

Never Been to Hokkaido, But I Like This Jacket A Lot

I have been to Japan, just not up north. The zipper and pockets and popped neck and fabric choice are super for this Urban Tech Uniform. I like the armpit air zippers too. This jacket is not as warm as the riding jacket, but is a better windbreaker. Wear with a sweater underneath and you'll be warm and stylish in Chicago during November, December, and if you're lucky January and February. The fit is like, 7% too small, I'm 6'2" 200lbs, but I can make it work.

    Nice jacket, wasn't my style/fit

Well made jacket that I'm sure performs really well in the elements. The quality definitely met the Nau standards. The sleeves were a bit short for my longer-than-average arms (Vice II fits me well). Also, I thought the large zipper on a blazer was odd when wearing it open, looks good zipped up though. I did like that it was slim fitting. Had to return due to sleeves though.

Should have bought it a year ago.

Difficult to be more succinct than the product description ("...wool suiting meets high-tech performance, making this piece ideal for the urban commuter"); so I will just pass along that with cool and rainy Fall having descended on the East coast I rarely reach for another jacket when stepping out to work. Fit always varies by person, but at 5'11" & an athletic 190lbs, the XL has a tailor made silhouette that I could not be happier with. The coat is warmer than the fabric weight suggests and so with the collar folded up, I'm good with it over a shirt and tie as I stand outside in 40-degree temps waiting on the train. The only feedback I have for NAU is the metal back-snaps 'clack' together if left unfastened, and it could use an interior stash pocket... Seriously, thats all I got. The Hokkaido Blazer is awesome.

Best thing I have ever purchased

This blazer is stunning. Probably the best thing I have purchased from Nau so far. Thanks so much for making me look so sharp.
