The recycled polyester used in the Motil Trench is crafted from a blend of pre-consumer textile waste and post-consumer PET bottles. Using recycled polyester fibers in our collection helps to lessen our dependence on petroleum products, keep waste out of the landfills, lessen the environmental footprint caused from conventional polyester processing, and create long-lasting garments that would normally end up in the landfill.
While most of our products have robust recycling systems, the recycled polyester fabric used in the Motil Trench is not able to be recycled at this time. Our intention is to have a recycling plan in place for this product and close the loop as soon as possible. Stay tuned.
