    Not for small people

This is one of two Nau coats I purchased and returned (the other was the Prato wool down trench). I ordered the XS in both and they were enormously huge! I am 5'0" and 110lbs and the XS size went past my knees, the sleeves were longer than my fingertips and the shoulders and arms were baggy...I was swimming in this XS coat! Really sad because I absolutely LOVE the quality of these products. Without a doubt I would have kept this one if it fit - it's a gorgeous and very well made coat. Too bad the sizing is so off for small people - I can't buy any more Nau products until they start making an XXS size! Or XXXS!

    Perfect Coat

This coat is exactly what I was looking for - warm and waterproof. It's perfect for Seattle rainy winters and very stylish as well! It has an adjustable built-in belt if you want to cinch it in and long enough sleeves if you have long arms.

    Amazing coat!

I don't recall ever liking an article of clothing as much as I do the Luminary Trench coat. It is everything I hoped for and more. The small size fits well on my 5'4", 120 lb. frame and looks smart and professional for business, but perfectly compatible with casual clothes too. High end finish details are a marvel, plus many pockets and quality zippers. The fabric looks luxurious, but it absolutely waterproof. For a Northern California winter it is the perfect weight. I love that is doesn't look like a "puffy coat", although the insulation inside does the same work of keeping me warm. I will be sad when winter ends and I have to put the coat in the closet for 6 months. It is a true joy to wear.

    lovely, but those noisy snaps...

I agree completely with the comments by Christine. it looks nice and fits great (also 5'4" 130, size small). it's just not as warm as I'd hoped so layer well under it. and if you don't affix all the many snaps on the coat, you'll hear the metal sides clink against each other with every step you take, which can be a bit maddening. I loved my previous down coat from Nau but so far this isn't living up to those expectations.

    Nailed it

This is classic Nau — super functional and beautiful at the same time. The extra length and insulation keep me very warm, down to 20F on its own or down to 10F with a lightweight down layer in between. It looks nice on, with a little more shape than the pictures show, and good enough to wear to business meetings. Enough mobility to bike commute in. I'm 115#, 32B/C bust and the XS fits great. A little snug across the chest when I have an additional jacket on underneath for coldest weather.
