I'm tall and lean, so finding tops that are long enough without fitting like a parachute is challenging. The cut of this jacket is perfect.

I wanted a piece of clothing that could work as both a nice shirt and be warm enough to bike around in. This fits the bill. Here are the other things that I like and why:
Flexible: The poly front and Merino back are flexible and the Merino back is also breathable. I like this because the flexibility makes layering under the garment easy, and allows me to move with a lot of freedom on the bike and just in general. Wind Resistance: I wear this as one of the layers I wear when riding my motorcycle and the wind resistant front keeps me from getting the wind chills. Same applies when riding the bike Long arms: Good coverage for when moving around or biking. This also applies to the longer back of the garment which will cover your toukus when bending over. Stylish: The shirt is designed well. Just wore it last night as a shirt at a fancy hotel party in Hollywood and got lots of style compliments. Sturdy: The Merino and Poly fabrics seem to hold up pretty well at this point (just got it a week or so ago). So its a bit early to call, but for lack of better description.....it feels sturdy. Stitching, material, buttons all feel well crafted and ready to take a bit of a beating.
Not to slow down the NAU celebration, but I feel compelled to also say that the buttons on the shirt pockets are a little tricky to snap shut sometimes and it might make the shirt pockets easier to deal with if they opened on both sides. That is the initial review so far - keep up the great work!

As with all Nau products, this is a very well-designed piece. I read the reviews about it running small, but after ordering both a small and medium, haven't found that to be the case. The one thing to be aware of is that, true to a cycling jacket, the sleeves are designed to cover the top of your hand (up to the knuckles). Overall, a very comfy product that blends form and function. I'm a fan.

I have had this jacket for 5+ years and I love it. It is durable, warm and breathable. It is only now showing some wear. The style fits me perfectly and it is extremely functional with pockets where you need them. It works well in the city and on the trail. There no logos or extraneous styling (thank you!). The button on the color is great for those occassions when it is suddenly too chilly. The sleeves are long, which I like, and the sleeve snaps are great for flexibility in how it can be worn.
In short I liked the jacket so much, I bought the women's version for my fiance last year and she loves hers.

The Dualist Jacket is comfortable, breathable, light, and stylish on the outside, on the inside it seemed like a patchwork with lots of loose string. It appears to be a great running or cycling jacket. I like the all metal zipper on the front, and wish the others were the same. I like the functionality of the snaps on the cuffs, but am unsure about there longevity. All the pockets are a plus. There was some loose and stray stitching on the sleeves, inside the pockets, and the neck collar button was nearly fallen off.
