10Looks like a blazer. Acts like a performance jacket. Recycled polyester soft shell with 4-way stretch and DWR finish repels wind and water, while a classic four-button front with a flip collar adds Nehru-style warmth. Even better: throw it in a bag, it stays wrinkle-free.

have had this jacket for more than 2 years and taken it literally everywhere. it never wrinkles, looks great with jeans or dress pants, and is the perfect weight for me, as i easily overheat. great for spring and fall travel as you can wear it just about anywhere.
only criticism is the sleeve length, which others have mentioned. for some reason, they run very long, but you can have it tailored or do what i did - move one of the buttons over so that it falls at your wrist. despite this, i would absolutely buy this again.

I commute on bike and have always struggled to find the right jacket for cool mornings and evenings. Most blazers or sport jackets are not well fitted for activity and do not pack well. Meanwhile, the traditional athletic jacket doesn't have the style necessary for the urban work environment. Nau's riding jacket combines function with style and is the best option I've found. I'm still a little timid to take it out in wet or nasty weather, but it's perfect for the cool dry evenings of autumn.

I travel all over the world, and this is an excellent jacket for it. It's rainproof and very durable (e.g. you can wad it up into your bag and then shake it out on arrival... good as new). It's stylish enough to go out in and light weight. I like that the body is a slimmer cut, but for some reason the sleeves were very long. I had to get my tailor to adjust, but now it's a staple. A great piece.

I'm writing this review after, unfortunately, returning the blazer. The product description was generally accurate, and the fit was "fitted" but good - I'm 6'0", of average build.
However, I had two issues with the blazer: (1) the color "caviar" is nearly black. Although the color swatch looks dark, the product images on the model appear much lighter, suggesting a medium to dark grey. I was hoping for the grey in the images. (2) The collar in this version of the blazer is a funky, wide type -- maybe a little '70's-looking? When it lies flat, it definitely appears unusual, and while that could mean "stylish," it can also mean "strange." Others might like it, but it wasn't what I'd hoped. More importantly, I wish that Nau would show these blazers with the collars down. Look at the images of this riding blazer, and many of the other blazers -- they're almost all collar-up, which isn't how they might normally be worn, and don't show the true shape of the garment. It's very hard to tell how wide it is.
The collar appears to have been updated in the v.2.0 of the blazer this year, to be a little slimmer (it appears to be one of the few collar-down images for blazers on the site...).
I think that the other reviewers' comments are generally accurate, and I really wanted to like this blazer. Maybe Nau can include other images to clarify for their other clothes?

This jacket is a great breakthough, stylish but resilient, works for most business meetings but works well casually too. Travels well and packs well. Downsides are minimal and I hope the designer is listening. I wish the silver zipper pull on the front wasn't so garish, that may just be my problem. I can't wear white pants or drive a Corvette either. And the inside breast pocket is too narrow. It can hold an iPhone but some of us also carry a Moleskin and it is a struggle, two handed job, to get one in and out. So make it a tad wider and put one on the other side as well. Thank you.

Had an Exte jacket made of matte black PVC or something other. It self destructed, for years wanted a replacement - this is it... can wear in rain storm or to formal function with a Versace tie..

This jacket was my first nau purchase two years ago and I have been a fan of the brand ever since. Great for traveling as the fabric is water (and wrinkle) resistant. The shoulders are a bit narrow so I opted to get this in a size L, which was perfect (I usually wear a size 40 blazer). Highly recommend this.
