Performance: Merino wool manages moisture naturally, breathes easy and resists odor to make for a resilient and low-maintenance baselayer. Seams are placed for ease of movement, stellar fit and comfort under a pack. Merino wool comes from the finer, softer, thinner, longer hairs of Merino sheep. The thinner the fiber, the softer the knit, and the wool fibers in this blend are 18.5 microns in diameter.
Sustainability: We love wool for its renewable nature, but we're careful to make sure that the sheep shorn for us don't get a raw deal. The wool in the Merino2 L/S Zip comes from New Zealand sheep raised on Zque-certified farms verified through independent audits to maintain the highest standards of animal health and welfare, as well as land and water use.

Fabric Details: 96% Zque-certified 160-gram merino wool in a jersey knit with 4% spandex for stretch and movement. Soft, 18.5 micron merino wool fibers. Poplin trim is 99& organic cotton with 1% spandex for stretch.
