Our graceful interpretation of the modern rain poncho. The dolman-sleeve, pullover design combines with high-drama back pleats, a draped cowl-neck hood and two-way, adjustable waist belt for a completely waterproof, three-layer hard shell disguised as fashion. Fully seam sealed with DWR to protect against the elements, the Poncho Via's adjustable belt can be worn two ways: completely cinched down around the waist or belted on the inside to extend the jacket's graceful pleats.

    Styling

I wear a medium/size 10. I was concerned the S/M might be snug but it was large. Since I bought it as a sale item I can't return it. Now that it is cooler I can wear a sweatshirt or sweater under it so it doesn't look like I'm swimming in it. It was stiff at first but drapes better now that I ran it through the dryer on low. I get lots of compliments on the great style. I'm still getting used to the fit and pulling it on/of over my head. It has it's pros and cons yet I'm glad to have it in my wardrobe.

    love it!!

I love this poncho! I have had so many compliments while wearing it. The colour is perfect for our grey Vancouver winters, and I love that you can wear it two ways, including the fact that because of the pleats and the extra length in the back you can even wear it over a backpack! I like the little zipper pocket inside the kangaroo pocket too. the only things I would say could improve this lovely little poncho would be a headphone cord hole in the pocket and a little snap on the back of the hood for the light drizzle days when you want a little more peripheral viability, but you don't want those big raindrops from the trees dropping on your head! I'm very pleased with this purchase. I bought a s/m and I'm 5'6" 150 lbs, curvy, its perfect for a couple of layers underneath, or without.

    Unflattering

I was very excited to get this poncho in time for the PNW rainy season. Unfortunately it was really awkward and bulged by the hips when I tried to use the belt. The cowl neck was a bit tight and the hood didn't stay on when I tried it on my bike. I am 5'1, 110 lbs and curvy and purchased an XXS-XS.

    Mixed bag

I really like the green color. The fabric is durable and effective for water repellency. The fit is much bigger than I expected. I wear a medium so I was a little concerned the S/M might be snug - just the opposite! If I wore a small I would be swimming in it. As a medium woman it has room for a sweater underneath an that isn't a bad thing going into fall.
