Nau scores a 10 on this jacket!

There must be some way Nau could improve this jacket, but I can't think of any. Like another reviewer I have an older version and I like the seemingly shorter sleeve length on this one. I am 5'11' 175 lbs and the Large fits perfectly. A great, packable, slightly dressy travel/cycling jacket.

Great in all respects but one

The jacket is great in all respects, as the other reviews note, except one: the fabric proved to be less than durable. I carried a canvas tote bag (full of books) over my shoulder for about 20 mins. and it left a noticeable mark of distress near the shoulder. So the jacket seems to require just a bit more care than you might think. Otherwise it meets or beats expectations.

    Nailed it!

I already owned the previous year's riding jacket in gray and was generally happy. But this update (snaps, new cut, zippers) just nailed it. I use it for travel. Bough tit in black. It's fantastic. Looks surprisingly dressy and can double for an evening jacket. Not too warm; not too light; wrinkle proof; wind proof and waterproof for my Utah trips. Would love a zippered pocket on this inside as well. But otherwise, this jacket is near perfection. Suggestion: Would love in beige.

    Not Surprising...

I am a long time customer of Nau and have never failed to be delighted by my purchases; the Riding Jacket Classic is no exception! The first time I wore it, had two compliments within the first two hours...it continues.

Nau design, materials, craftsmanship thoughtfulness and STYLE would make Giorgio Armani jealous. I love this jacket and everything about it: quiet styling with a flair of practicality in the reflective material. Style is all about contrast.

I am 5'11", 170lbs, and lift weights, so the fit is snug. Large would be too large for me. I'd like to see just the smallest bit more room in size Medium.

Thank you Nau for another great jacket. I think I own four...and counting.

    Better than the Last One

Love the new blazer. Don't get me wrong, I still use the previous riding blazer, but this one works better as a daily jacket and for riding as well. The previous is more of a classic three button jacket (you can work it as a two button look too). The new fits me better and I like that the sleeves are not as long as the previous model. The reflective accents are perfectly placed. Glad they kept the same materials. The jacket rolls up into my bike bag and is ready to go when I need it!
