  • Unfortunately, too big

    3/11/2016 Flo, Atlanta, GA

I love your products and was excited about ordering this trench at the great sale price, but the XS was too large for me. I can't return it since sale items are final sale so it'll have to be a gift for a lucky, larger friend!

  • A good jacket

    3/10/2016 Blackdogstew, Maine

This jacket is light weight and long enough to protect my legs completely from wind or rain if I wear boots. I am tall so this is a rare treat for me. I did not realize that this model does not have a hood or I would not have bought it. The sleeves saturated pretty quickly during a dog walk in the rain. Not at all convenient to have rain or wind going down my neck; however that's my fault for not reading closely enough. I had a bad experience trying to exchange a different product, so I kept this one. Guess ill just wear it on warmer, non-rainy days.

  • Beautiful, stylish, modern -- not as warm as I expected

    3/8/2016 PDX Mom, Portland

Today was a typical Portland winter day. Blustery wind, showers. I wore a short sleeve underneath the jacket thinking I'd be cozy enough with the lining and all. But as I was standing out at the food carts waiting for my order, I was shivering. Also I wished desperately for a hood to keep my ears warm and the wind out. So, I will definitely layer when it's windy and in the 50s, and I'll leave this coat at home when it's seriously rainy (because no Portlander carries an umbrella). Otherwise, the cut, the fabric, the details -- everything is top notch.

  • Crisp lines, quality materials and construction, very pleased!

    3/7/2016 Sarah, Hastings, NE

I ordered this in blue, and am very pleased. At every point, there is a delightful deliberate choice with beautifully angled style and seam lines, zipper treatments, excellent fit, high quality and high tech fabric. My first Nau purchase, and I would recommend the quality of their design choices to anyone.

  • I loved it so much, I bought it twice

    2/25/2016 Jen, Seattle, WA

I bought the Shroud of Purrin trench in Caviar about 9 years ago and it's been my perfect go-to jacket for Seattle's weather ever since. It's only starting to show its age so I snapped up another one when it went on sale. It's a great thin layer that is warm without adding bulk, has a lot of subtle style built in to its lines and construction, and is super flattering. If I could give it more than 5 stars in every category, I would.

  • Practically perfect in every way!

    2/17/2016 Pipsy, Alabama

This coat is great! It's attractive, easy to dress up or down, lightweight, warm, flattering, and easy to move in. I'm 5'8", 140, with broad shoulders and long arms, and size M accommodates both, to my utter surprise. I'd been watching it on various websites waiting for a sale and finally got it for about 1/2 price. This is now my go- to coat, and I love it.

  • Travel coat - post-trip update

    3/31/2015 gc, Seattle

Amsterdam: while biking in sunny but chilly weather, I appreciated the tall collar to keep my neck warm and that I could unzip the jacket from the bottom for pedaling.
Paris: felt stylish walking around the city in this coat. Weather was downright cold, so I added a think down jacket under and was cozy.
London: lots of rain, added a hat and went on my way. Jacket kept me dry.
Caught the flu while on the road: pulled the coat over me as an added layer in my chilly hotel room. Wore it like a blanket all day.
    Highly recommend!

  • Ready to travel in this coat

    2/17/2015 gc, Seattle

I like this coat a lot, and bought it for a trip to Europe. I like the look and the fit. I chose it because it looks like one coat I can wear in variable weather, and also tuck away in a suitcase when not needed.

My only compliant is that while zipped up the coat sticks to my legs and rides up and gets a bit bunchy. The fuzzy soft fabric inside is nice, but down at the legs it clings to my jeans. I may sew a layer of smooth fabric over the lower inside front of the jacket area myself. Something to consider for future designs.

  • Stylish Comfort with Shroud of Purrin Trench

    2/9/2015 Raven, Wisconsin

This fall I purchased a Shroud of Purrin Trench for a trip to the Northwest in the sage green color. The trench performed well for travel and in the drizzle and rain. I wear it over yoga clothes or an outfit for the evening and feel comfortable and well clothed either way. My husband has mentioned a few times how nice the trench looks on me. I am 5'4", weigh 115 lbs. and the small fits fine for me with room for light layering. But the trench fits well without layering too. I purchased a second trench in adobe color when it was recently on sale.
