Performance: Breathable fabric keeps skin dry and odors at bay. Ultra fine merino fiber is soft against the skin, comfortable over a wide range of temperatures and insulates, even when wet. Merino wool comes from the softer, thinner, longer hairs of Merino sheep. The thinner the fiber, the softer the knit. The wool fibers in this blend are 18.5 microns in diameter; go any thinner and it's practically cashmere.
Sustainability: We love wool for its renewable nature, but shorn sheep often get a raw deal. We insist on Zque certification for our merino wool, which verifies through independent audits the maintenance of high standards for animal welfare, environmental health and social values.

Bound edges of the neckline extend out to left armhole seam to create the shoulder seam as well. Sleeve has a full underarm gusset that runs from cuff to hem, with flattened seams to minimize bulk. Hits at the hip.
