Performance: So soft to the touch it's sometimes mistaken for cotton, our ultra-fine Merino fabric is woven from the finer, softer, thinner hairs of Merino sheep. Offering next to skin comfort with all the benefits of wool, it manages moisture naturally, breathes easy and resists odor. The thinner the fiber, the softer the knit, and the wool fibers in this blend are 18.5 microns in diameter.
Sustainability: We love wool for its renewable nature, but we're careful to make sure that the sheep shorn for us don't get a raw deal. The wool in the Merino2 L/S Zip comes from New Zealand sheep raised on Zque-certified farms verified through independent audits to maintain the highest standards of animal health and welfare, as well as land and water use.
