Performance: A lightweight 3-layer hardshell, the Shelter is completely windproof, waterproof, and breathable. Pit zips, venting pockets and a helmet-compatible hood offer full temperature regulation, while the fabric surface features a DWR finish for added water repellency. Two-way stretch improves mobility, while the variegated rip-stop pattern on the face adds surface strength and visual texture. Ultrasonically welded seams keep water out while shaving overall weight by removing bulky stitching.
Sustainability: The Shelter's polyester fabric is both 100% recycled and recyclable. Created from recycled post-consumer and post-industrial polyester waste, the Shelter employs cradle-to-cradle ECOCIRCLE® technology, so that at the end of its long life it can be sent back to us and be recycled once again into polyester fibers for reuse.
