Performance: The Shelter Pants are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable. Fully waterproof zippers extend from hip to hem to offer venting and ease layering, even over boots. Fabric surface features a DWR finish for added water repellency. Two-way stretch improves mobility, while the variegated rip-stop pattern on the face adds surface strength and visual texture. Ultrasonically welded seams keep water out while shaving overall weight by removing bulky stitching.
Sustainability: The Shelter Pants' polyester fabric is both 100% recycled and recyclable. Created from recycled post-consumer and post-industrial polyester waste, the Shelter Pants employ cradle-to-cradle ECOCIRCLE® technology, so that at the end of their long life they can be sent back to us and be recycled once again into polyester fibers for reuse.
