We're always looking for sustainable fibers which offer a fine hand and superb performance characteristics without destroying the environment. Tencel® delivers on both. Made from the pulp of sustainably grown eucalyptus trees, this regenerating fiber is manufactured using an extremely efficient, closed-loop system that utilizes a non-toxic organic solvent solution. 98% of the materials used to process Tencel® are recovered and reused making Tencel® the most eco-friendly, regenerating fiber.

ORGANIC COTTON

The Double Back Tank's cotton content is from certified 100% organically grown cotton, which does not use pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers or defoliants at any point in its growth and development. To understand the impact this makes on a micro and macro scale, we need to take a closer look at the numbers: Currently, 9.4 billion pounds of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers are used annually in the US alone. This breaks down to using roughly 1/3 pound of synthetic fertilizers to grow one pound of raw cotton in the US, and it takes just under one pound of raw cotton to make one t-shirt. Research shows that the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers pollute rivers, streams, and air, as well as cause irreparable damage to our most vital resources- water and soil. In a nutshell, we hope the use of organic cotton across all of our garments will reduce, in a small way, the detrimental impact pesticides and fertilizers have on our environment.

If one of our products fails to satisfy you at the time you receive it, or does not perform to expectations during its long lifetime, simply return it to us. We'll replace it or extend a refund.

Because we build sustainability into everything we make, our products are designed to have a long lifespan, longer sometimes than their usefulness to a single person. For this reason, we guarantee them to be free of manufacturer defects whether you're the first, second or simply most recent owner. Hand it down, pass it on, give it away: we'll warranty a product until normal wear and tear run their course. Please understand that we can not guarantee products employed for purposes other than their intended use, and that even under the best circumstances, we do expect they'll wear out before you do.

Whenever you send an item to us for an exchange or credit, it's best to use a shipping method that will provide you with a tracking number and delivery confirmation. Please keep in mind Nau will not be responsible for goods that are lost or stolen in transit. Be sure to include your daytime phone, email address, mailing address and a short explanation of the problem we need to address. If we do need to send you a replacement, we'll pay the shipping.

For a warranty replacement without proof of purchase, the care label must be intact.
