1Technical softshell? Insulated pant? Orgasmatron? Fit like a board short and warm as a ski pant, the Shroud of Purrin Pant has a brushed lining so soft it may provoke a trip to confession. Wind and water-resistant stretch fabric helps you pay penance in comfort.
I wanted to love these pants. I wear my Shroud of Purrin blazer on a regular basis. I love the material on the inside.
I am returning these pants, however, because I wanted to be able to wear them on warmer days without a base layer. But the zippers for the air vents are basically exposed on the inside, touching your legs. They are not seamlessly integrated into the shroud of purrin liner, but actually hang from a separate fabric piece that juts into the pants. This would be fine, if I didn't expect the zippers to be regularly rubbing up against my legs during activities.
Ultimately, it's a dealbreaker for me on an otherwise perfect pair of soft-shell pants. If Nau finds a way to make that zipper better integrated to the pant lining (or even without air vent zips), I would buy them in a heartbeat.
What size do you normally wear in other brands? 30
Cons: interior side of vent zippers are a nuisance.
