    Not for tall skinny guys

This is a very well made light wool jacket. I am 6'2" and 160 lbs, and unfortunately the medium didn't quite fit. A little too short in the sleeves, and short but wide in the torso. Looks like a large would be only slightly longer, but wider, with no draw string at the bottom. I had to send it back.

This Felt is giving me the feels

I have to admit the name "Felt" gave me pause and nearly dissuaded me from purchasing this great jacket. For the record, its nothing like the felt I glued on construction paper as a kid. For heaven's sake call it something more distinguished like "Merino Salvation" ...from the pile of technical, synthetic pieces that crowd my closet. I've been looking for that perfect shoulder season middle weight piece that can go from the office, to dinner out or even that compact insulating piece for a trip overseas. Yes, this Felt Jacket will do that nicely and make you look sharp in the process. Fit notes...I'm no beanpole at 5'8" 180 and the Medium is spot on with a little extra length in the sleeves (always the case for me) but not enough to send me to the tailor, yet. Hope that helps you in your search. This is my first NAU purchase and I strongly suspect not my last. Peace!

    Good jacket, short in body

Material is fabulous, felted wool is very soft and not stiff. Conforms to body. I am 6'1" 160 lbs and take a medium. Fit is good, not body hugging, so easy to layer underneath. This jacket is however notably short in the body length; barely reaches my waist, so good if you like that style or are not too tall in the torso, but if you are, I would choose another jacket such as the Transporter wool, though it's a different fabric. Have not had out in rain yet, but deals well with wind and breathes well when temps warm up.

    Gorgeous

Beautifully constructed jacket as I (we all?) have come to expect from Nau with all their products, and admittedly, I've got quite a few of their pieces. Good fit (I bought a small and wear a 37" jacket, and 5' 8" and 154 pounds), sleeves only a touch long.

    Basically perfect

I'm 6'2"/195. got the L in black after consulting with Nau customer support. This is a super-stylish and versatile jacket, which can work as an outer layer, or a midlayer under a shell in harsh conditions. The collar is full-zip but can be folded. The warmth to weight ratio is excellent, and because the fabric is merino, it will regulate temperature really well, keeping you warm but not clammy. The cut is somewhere between tailored and athletic, and there is just a little bit of stretch. The cut allows for some range of motion, so you could ski or hike in this, no problem, and look dapper for dinner without switching outfits. It looks like a classier version of a polar fleece, or a slightly sportier version of a cardigan. The felting gives it just a bit more wind resistance than a merino sweater, and even in brisk conditions maintains core warmth, although it is not windproof. The hand is super soft and comfy. There is literally nothing not to like about this jacket. Nau really knocked it out of the park with this one. It's a technical piece in a refined rendition which oozes quality and style.
