    Okay trench

I wanted to really love this trench coat but I couldn't. The sleeves are a little too long which is pretty irritating. However, my biggest complaint is the pockets. Both the outside and the inside chest pocket is WAY TOO SMALL! I can barley fit my hands in them (and my hands are an average size). The inside chest pocket always feels like a tight squeeze for my wallet and/or phone. I also would have like one or two more inside pockets for keys, headphones, and other things I usually carry in my coat pocket.

    Good, not great.

Slim fit with long arms is a plus, though tight arms means wearing a sweater with this is a little claustrophobic.

I’ve had it 6 months and while it’s great for the wind, wearing now for the first time in light rain is A major letdown. The jacket gets and stays wet, as if there is no DWR at all. Based on the reviews, I’m quite disappointed particularly as the jacket is billed as waterproof. I find it unlikely that the protection has worn off during 6 months of dry wear.

    Perfect for bike-commuting to work

This was my first Nau purchase, though I have been looking for the perfect wind/water-resistant bike-to-work coat for quite some time, and have tried a few other coats from Uniqlo, Calvin Klein and Levis. I'm 5' 8" 135 lbs. and wear an M (keeping some space to layer underneath).

Just to confirm the previous reviews: the arms do run long. But this lets me tighten the sleeves around my gloves while biking to stop the cold wind from seeping in! The rest of the coat fits exceptionally well and does not constrain body movement (experience from short jogs and daily bike-commuting). Details like the "center cut" at the back, removable hood and convertible collar make this a perfect wear-to-work coat, and the inside fabric makes it comfortable enough to wear throughout the day without that strange sticky/suffocating feeling that most water-resistant coats have. 5 stars for style!

I had a chance to test out its wind and water-resistance while biking through a moderate downpour at 45F for 30 minutes, and am happy to report that I stayed warm and bone dry, without breaking a sweat! I hope to see similar results for longer/harder downpours and colder/windier days. The coat also dried quickly (within 30 minutes). Highly appreciate the water/wind-resistance, breathability and unconstrained movement this coat provides. This was most important for me, so 5 stars for performance!

The hood is a bit tight and constrains neck movement like most other raincoat hoods, so -1 "fit" star for that; though it does block wind effectively.

    Good with one query

Very nice light trench coat. The query is with the cuffs. There is no "snap tab." There is a few inches of tab plus loops; I cannot figure out how to stop the tabs from pulling out and flapping around.

    Good not Great.

The tech is great as always with NAU.
Less fitted than I'd like and the arms are a bit too long (I'm 6' and 165 lbs) for medium.
Also, the texture to the grey color is subtle but it ended up being too much for me.

I travel with their old blazer for work all the time and wanted to compliment with a "rain coat".
