    Lovely coat

I love the styling of this coat. Personally, it’s not as flattering on me as a more A-line style would be (it’s quite a straight cut), but, it’s a lovely coat and I’m wearing it anyway! I purchased a small. I am 5’3” and weigh 135 pounds and don’t have much of a defined waist, so it’s plenty roomy through the shoulders and the sleeves are also long enough, but it’s just a tad snug through the mid-section. I would not be able to wear a bulky sweater under it comfortably. I think it’s really a classy upgrade from the basic boring trench coat style and I feel good wearing a product from this sustainability-minded company.

    Fantastic Form & Function

I have another coat from Nau that I've now had for several years and every year I get so many compliments on its styling. So, when I started shopping for a waterproof trench that would look great going to work AND riding my bike around town, I was delighted to see the Succinct on sale and snapped it up.

I am a slim, but broad-shouldered 5'7" and went for the medium. It feels roomy w/o looking oversized, but I am confident it will allow me to wear thick sweaters underneath. I love that the hood is deep enough to actually keep the rain off my face. It is also thin enough to fit under my cycling helmet. While this is not the most stylish look, it is effective for keeping me dry on my commute. The slit in the back of the coat has reflective elements and I love that. I was able to pedal without the coat gapping and allowing my dress to get wet.

I love its understated style and look forward to many seasons of use.

    Awesome Trench Coat

I recently purchased this trench coat and tested it on a trip to the SF Bay Area, where it was cold and windy!! I am super happy with my choice. I am 5'5", 125 lbs. compact build and the size S is perfect. If I had gone smaller, there would be no room for layers underneath as the cut is fairly straight. I can fit a thin merino sweater and a thin, light weight down jacket under the coat. The coat comes to just below my knee caps. For protection from the elements there is the high, snap-up collar, and the hood. There is a snap secured flap at the lower back of the coat for increased mobility. The sleeve length is perfect and if I want to completely expose my hands there is a snap cinch at the wrist. I spent 3 days beside the windy, freezing ocean and did not feel the cold, with my layers. The coat is a great wind blocker (it's lined), especially with the length!

    Lovely Jacket

I plan to take this on a trip to the Lake District in the UK this spring and so far it has been great in rainy Bay Area, SLC and Chicago trips!

    Great coat

I am going to Ireland, so I need a reliable rain coat. Got a S and I am 5'7" and 135 pounds. The coat fits perfectly. I wish there were brighter colors.
